Our Goal
The Lampasas County Chamber Music Festival, in collaboration with Ben Davis of Saloon 37 and LAFTA, is dedicated to enhancing access to music and arts education by providing free or low-cost musical instruments to children in need. Through generous donations, gifts, and sponsorships, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit initiative aims to empower the youth of Lampasas County to explore and grow their musical talents, ensuring every child has the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of music education.
How to apply, how it works:
The Lampasas County Chamber Music Festival, in collaboration with Ben Davis of Saloon 37 and the Lampasas Association For The Arts (LAFTA), is proud to announce a transformative new program designed to break down financial barriers to music education for children and students in Lampasas County. Understanding the pivotal role of music in fostering creativity, expression, and academic achievement, this initiative seeks to ensure that every child with a passion for music has the opportunity to pursue their interest, irrespective of their financial situation.
Through the generous support of our community—encompassing donations, gifts, and sponsorships—we have established a system to provide free or low-cost musical instruments to young aspiring musicians. This program is not just about handing out instruments; it's a commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists, thinkers, and leaders by making music and arts education accessible to all.
Our dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit board meticulously oversees the application and allocation process, ensuring fairness and transparency. Children and students interested in applying for a musical instrument can do so through the form to the left. You may also nominate a child or student on their behalf.
We believe that by removing financial hurdles, we can cultivate a vibrant, inclusive musical community in Lampasas County, where every child has the chance to explore their musical talents and enrich their lives through the arts.
