“500 Years of Christmas Music” With the Artisan String Quartet

Back by public demand, our very popular “500 Years of Christmas Music” Concert returns to First Presbyterian Church this December including selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, the Corelli Christmas Concerto, and tradition Christmas songs and carols from the last 500 years. Bring the whole family, wear red and green, and be ready to sing along!

“Classy Clarinet”

Featuring the Artisan String Quartet and Clarinetist, Stephen Girko

Enjoy the beautiful acoustics and stunning visual surroundings of the Lampasas County Courthouse for a mid-day “Classy Clarinet” concert with the Artisan String Quartet and principal clarinetist of the Austin Symphony Stephen Girko. The five musicians will performing the iconic Quintet for Strings and clarinet composed by Johannes Brahms.

Free admission but a suggested donation of $30 for adults, and $10 for children to the operations fund of the LCCMF are encouraged. Checks can be made out to the Lampasas Heritage Foundation with the note in the memo line “TO THE LCCMF”

“Bach’s Lunch”

Performed by Pianist, Lisa Clements

Solo piano music by Johann Sebastian Bach and other great composers performed by Lisa Clement, former piano faculty member at Mary Hardin Baylor University. Meet Lisa and enjoy a “Box Lunch” in Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian after the performance.

Free admission for the performance and a “Box Lunch” catered by HEB will be available after the concert for any size donation to the operating fund of the LCCMF. Checks can be made out to the Lampasas Heritage Foundation with the note in the memo line “TO THE LCCMF”

“Italian Seasonal Favorites”

Featuring the Artisan Chamber Players and Solo Violinist Patrice Calixte

The sparkling and effervescent music of the Italian Baroque era comes to life for our performance of “Italian Seasonal Favorites.” The Artisan Chamber Players and solo violinist Patrice Calixte will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s timeless classic “The Four Seasons,” and Arcangelo Corelli’s Concerto Grosso Opus 6, No. 4.

“Masterpiece & Theater”

Fundraising Matinee with the Artisan String Quartet

Join the Lampasas County Chamber Music Festival’s Artists in Residence, the Artisan String Quartet, for “Masterpiece & Theater.” This dramatic afternoon concert will include Ludwig van Beethoven’s masterpiece, the String Quartet Opus 95 nicknamed the “Serioso”, and will also feature familiar Classical and Pop music associated with theater, opera, movies, and TV.
